Rates & Fees
Are Psychological Services Covered by OHIP?

Services offered by a psychologist are not covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Program (OHIP). However, they may be reimbursed by your extended health care insurance or employee benefit plan, which you may have through your work. Please check your coverage carefully before booking your appointment. Non-reimbursed fees may be claimed as medical expenses on your income tax returns.

Fees
-
All therapy services are charged on an hourly basis. The hourly rate (per 50-minute session) will be discussed with you prior to your first appointment. All fees are based on the guideline recommendations of the Ontario Psychological Association (OPA).

-
For psychological assessments, fees will be discussed with you before your first appointment, depending on the nature and scope of the assessment.

What Is The Policy For Cancelled Or Missed Appointments?
We have a 24-hour, one-business-day, cancellation policy. If you cannot make an appointment, please let us know 24 hours, one business day, prior to your scheduled appointment.

How Do I Pay?
Fees are payable by cheque, e-transfer, or cash. A receipt is issued when payment is received. Please retain these receipts for reimbursement by your insurance or for the purpose of income tax claims.

Please note that certain services, such as those related to workplace injuries, motor vehicle accident assessments and treatments, as well as services for refugees, may be directly covered by the responsible organizations. These include WSIB, motor vehicle insurance companies, refugee support agencies or insurance, and employment assistance programs. In such cases, clients are not required to make direct payments to the clinic, as the respective organizations are responsible for covering the costs.

Before providing any services, all possible resources regarding payments will be discussed with you.
